Valentine’s Day again. I don’t begrudge the florists, chocolatiers and greetings card sellers from making the most of the opportunity, in these times when hearts are hard and people are polarised by excess or need.
And where’s romance in all this? A tender flower whose petals fall through your fingers if you grasp it too greedily. Ah, but then I’m just an old cynic!
Here’s the song I fell in love to – never realising it was supposed to be ironic - ”Love’s Enough” by David Ackles. Take advantage of all the love you can today, even if you’re not feeling it, pretend you do; it might make someone else feel better! All of us have some or other family and friends, horses, dogs, cats and even the birds who wait for us to put out their feed. Let’s look after the ones who make our lives worthwhile.

Great entry my friend
Many thanks!
